TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Progressive Care Unit.
Job Overview
- The ideal candidate will have experience as a Charge Nurse and be certified in NIHSS Stroke Certification, ACLS, and BCLS.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating all functions in the unit, delivering high-quality patient-centered care, and supporting an unparalleled patient experience. They will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to customize and deliver care tailored to each patient's needs.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in a 25-bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit that primarily cares for patients with chest pain waiting for stress testing, cath labs, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, altered mental status, sepsis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous BiPAP, drips such as cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, lasix, protonix, and others.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse degree.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
