**Job Summary:**
This position involves providing therapeutic intervention to individuals in a rehab environment, following established policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of patient care for assigned patients.
- Report billing information for Speech Therapy services.
- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment planning, as prescribed.
- Interpret and report treatment results.
- Develop and present in-services on facility operations.
- Supervise support personnel as needed.
- Perform clinical functions, including screenings, evaluations, and treatment delivery.
- Participate in patient care meetings.
- Assist with community education and public relations activities.
- Provide education to patients' families and staff on treatment plans and goals.
- Coordinate treatment plans with other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certification from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Licensure by the State in the designated geographic area.
- Able to perform tasks without posing a health or safety risk to self or others, including lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
- Able to perform minimal assist transfers (lifting and controlling 50 pounds).
