TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
Scope of Work
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions for individuals in the rehab environment, adhering to established policies and procedures by Medicare, private insurance, and Client.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records regarding patient care for all patients on personal caseload.
- Report billing information for Speech Therapy accurately for all patients on personal caseload.
- Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
- Interpret and report treatment results.
- Presentation of in-services for the facility as requested.
- Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as necessary.
- Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment according to facility, Medicare, and Client's policies and procedures.
- Participate in meetings regarding patient care as required.
- Assist with community education and public relations activities as needed.
- Provide education to patient's family and staff on specific treatment plan and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with other staff members in carrying out treatment plan as established.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certification in accordance with American Speech Language Hearing Association requirements.
- Licensed by the State in designated geographic area in respective therapy profession.
- Ability to perform tasks without posing a threat to health or safety of self or others, including lifting, turning, moving, and transporting patients.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000 per year.
