We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic Medical/Surgical unit.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit is responsible for providing patient-centered care to individuals with various medical conditions and post-surgical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate patient records, document nursing interventions, and report changes in patient status.
- Assist with wound care, IV therapy, pain management, and post-operative recovery.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- BLS/ACLS certification (must be from the American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
