Responsibilities
- Operate multiple imaging modalities with minimal supervision, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PACS, and Mammography.
- Perform diagnostic procedures requiring independent judgment and prioritize tasks to maintain high patient care standards.
- Coordinate and schedule procedures, ensure accurate data storage, and correctly code charges in the billing system.
- Demonstrate competence with various age groups and adhere to regulatory requirements, confidentiality policies, and core values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state licensure.
- Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably three years in a clinical imaging setting.
- BLS certification required.
