Our client, a pool service company in North Naples, FL, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager to lead their pool service company, oversee a team of 20 employees, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a Florida Certified Pool Contractor (CPC) license, a comprehensive understanding of business operations in the service industry and demonstrated expertise in pool maintenance and repair. Strong leadership skills and Spanish-speaking ability are preferred. Experience in pool construction will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of 20 employees to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes accountability and growth.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a skilled, reliable workforce.
- Address and resolve challenging human resource issues, including conflicts, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions, while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Serve as a trusted leader and mediator to maintain team cohesion and a collaborative workplace.
- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, logistics, and quality control for pool services.
- Establish and implement efficient processes for service delivery, inventory management, and customer relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Customer Relations
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking opportunities to attract new customers.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the company’s reputation.
- Business Development
- Execute business strategies to expand the company’s market share and revenue streams.
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities in pool service, maintenance, and construction.
- Build partnerships and networks to enhance the company’s competitive position.
- Pool Industry Expertise
- Utilize knowledge of pool maintenance, repair, and construction to guide team activities and provide technical support.
- Stay informed on the latest technologies, techniques, and products in the pool industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the service industry, preferably in pool services or a related field.
- Florida Certified Pool Contractor (CPC) license strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance, repair, water chemistry, and construction is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to implement plans that achieve measurable growth.
- Proficiency with business software tools and scheduling platforms.
- Clean driving record is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in pool operations or related credentials.
- Experience in marketing, customer acquisition, and business development strategies.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations related to pool services and construction.
The compensation for this position ranges from $125,000.00 - $175,000.00. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
