Job Overview
TalentCORE, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontract Specialist to join our team in a key role that will significantly impact the success of our clients' programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex subcontracts procurement for critical hardware and/or services supporting assigned programs and proposal activities.
- Review Statements of Work, prepare Request for Proposal/Quotation documents, conduct source selection determinations, and ensure compliance with applicable purchasing system considerations.
- Analyze supplier bids/proposals, perform cost and/or price analysis, and lead cost and pricing reviews with program management and customers.
- Negotiate subcontract agreements with suppliers.
- Review and interpret terms and conditions, providing recommendations and participating in or leading negotiations for modifications to standard/non-standard subcontract provisions.
- Advise management on contractual rights and obligations.
- Identify subcontract risks/issues and provide leadership in developing innovative solutions to complex subcontracting requirements.
- Represent TalentCORE, Inc. as the primary subcontract business point of contact on assigned subcontracts to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in supply chain management, contract administration, or a related discipline, along with ten or more years of progressive professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Government Contracting (FAR, DFARS, ITAR) and comprehensive understanding of acquisition principles, theories, concepts related to government rules and regulations supporting major agencies (DoD, NASA, etc.).
- Experience and familiarity with Statements of Work and SDRL management.
- Proficiency with various contract types (FFP, CR, CPFF, T&M, etc.).
- Ability to provide leadership in developing and communicating new concepts for unique requirements.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and guide employees, managers, customers, and other external parties.
- Ability to understand complex requirements and develop innovative solutions.
