Our client is hiring for an experienced Service Leader in the crane, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance industry, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while leading a team of skilled technicians!
About the Role
The Regional Service Manager will oversee field operations, service coordination, and maintenance for a fleet of cranes across the East Coast and Southeast U.S. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance technical experience, team management, and customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead service operations for crane erection, dismantling, major breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage a team of service technicians and yard staff, leading effective scheduling and dispatching.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and field support when needed.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and industry safety regulations.
- Maintain fleet records, service reports, and cost control measures.
- Travel 50-60% of the time throughout the East and Southeast to job sites, focused on service operations running smoothly.
This role is best suited for professionals with experience in tower cranes, self-erecting cranes, mobile cranes, overhead cranes, heavy equipment, or related industries.
