Talent Depot is partnering with a leading environment consulting firm to find a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for expanding the Gulf Oil brand by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with customers across a designated Northeast territory. This role involves traveling frequently to engage with customers, understand their needs, and create tailored solutions leveraging Gulf’s strong brand presence and market expertise. A successful candidate will have a hunter mentality, a strong background in sales, and ideally experience within the oil industry.

New Business Development : Drive growth by developing a pipeline of new opportunities through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and networking. Leverage industry knowledge and Gulf’s competitive advantages to engage potential clients.
Branding & Contracts : Collaborate with clients to design tailored branding packages, assist with contract negotiations, and determine appropriate offers that align with customer needs.
Customer Partnership : Work closely with customers to strengthen their marketing strategy, ensuring they effectively utilize Gulf’s marketing, advertising, and image programs.
Market & Industry Knowledge : Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and competitive intelligence. Conduct SWOT analysis within the territory to support a proactive sales strategy.
Internal Collaboration : Partner with internal teams to optimize customer support and satisfaction. Communicate daily with internal resources to resolve any customer issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a sales representative role ; oil industry experience is highly preferred.
- Sales Skills : Proven track record as a “hunter” in sales with the ability to consistently drive new business.
- Pressure Resilience : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a strong desire to win.
- Travel Flexibility : Comfortable with regular travel within the territory, often exceeding 50% of the time, to meet prospective and established customers.
- Remote Work : 100% remote with a required residence in the Northeast U.S. (preferably in CT, MA, or ME).
- Travel Reimbursement : Car travel reimbursed at the federal mileage rate.
