Role Overview:
The General Manager (GM) is the driving force behind the day-to-day sales operations of our restaurant locations. As GM, you will be responsible for maintaining high sales operational standards, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and leading a team to success. You will work closely with the leadership team to create a positive work culture, optimize restaurant performance, and maintain profitability—all while ensuring that our mission and values are always upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including staffing, inventory management, quality control, and maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, train, and develop a passionate team of restaurant staff. Foster a positive, high-energy work environment, ensuring that everyone on your team is motivated, engaged, and held to the highest standards.
* Customer Experience:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and resolving any customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
* Financial Management: * Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, including labor, food costs, and overhead. Analyze sales, track KPIs, and adjust operational strategies to meet financial targets and achieve profitability.
* Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant, drive sales, and build a strong local presence. Participate in community events and activities that align with our brand values.
* Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and train staff on proper food handling and workplace safety protocols.
* Problem Solving & Decision Making:
- Take a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges, troubleshooting issues, and making quick decisions that benefit both the restaurant and the team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role in a fast-casual or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including team management, inventory control, and financial oversight.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams.
