Enterprise Architect – Global Issuer Organization
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead solution strategy, complex RFP responses, and design scalable integration architectures for mobile, web, and digital platforms. This role ensures alignment between business needs and technical solutions across large-scale IT environments, with a strong focus on financial services, including loans, mutual funds, and digital banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead enterprise architecture strategy for complex, cross-functional financial technology solutions.
- Partner with product and sales teams to develop integrated solutions for loan origination, servicing platforms, and investment products like mutual funds, ETFs, and retirement accounts.
- Influence enterprise product roadmap and innovation aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 20022, Open Banking, API integrations).
- Architect and document digital experiences across consumer banking, wealth management, and commercial lending platforms.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., KYC, AML, PCI DSS) is built into solution design.
- Provide architectural leadership in responses to RFPs and client solutioning involving card-based payments, digital banking, and investment services.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, compliance, and data teams to ensure scalable and secure designs.
- Present architectural solutions to internal governance boards and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10 years in large-scale IT system design and implementation, including enterprise architecture roles.
- Deep understanding of financial services platforms, including loan management systems, investment management platforms, mutual fund processing, and digital banking ecosystems.
- Experience architecting secure, scalable systems using modern technology stacks: Java-based microservices, Kafka, REST APIs, cloud (AWS/Azure), relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong background in front-end/UI architecture and product development.
- Hands-on experience with data security, encryption, tokenization, and authentication technologies used in financial services.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial institutions (e.g., FFIEC, FINRA, SEC).
- Preferred: Experience with core banking systems, trading platforms, and financial data exchange protocols (FIX, SWIFT).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; certifications like TOGAF, AWS Architect, or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) are a plus.
