What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Review and organize actuarial and operational data for various analyses, including Medicaid rate review and financial forecasts
• Prepare accurate and timely reports related to internal analysis and external regulatory requirements
• Collaborate on special studies and ad hoc analyses to support departmental objectives
• Present analyses and recommendations professionally to internal and external stakeholders
• Research and resolve data integrity issues while partnering with team members
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 3 years of health insurance actuarial experience
• Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and probability
• Strong understanding of business and financial concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Passage of 2 actuarial exams
• Experience with Medicaid programs
