- Primarily home-based role with flexibility to work remotely 80% of the time
- Provide expertise in placing accounts with admitted and non-admitted carrier partners/brokers and facilitate outbound marketing of select accounts
- Analyze submissions and make decisions based on risk characteristics, exposure analysis, and hazard recognition
- Oversee a book of business within a geographic territory, ensuring profitable placements
- Handle the new and renewal placement process, including rating, negotiating, and preparing presentation materials
- Assist agents and staff with carrier information and support their sales efforts
- Demonstrated experience in account management and insurance placement for commercial and specialty personal lines products
- Minimum of 30 days to obtain property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states
- Must provide proof of successful completion of the AD Banker On-Line Pre-Licensing Course if unlicensed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency using PC software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
- Solid knowledge of underwriting concepts and servicing for excess/surplus coverages
- Understanding of brokerage customer service, carrier placement, and policy processing
- Experience consulting with agents
- Familiarity with carrier appetites and market conditions
