- Qualify, develop, and secure new events using prospecting lists and alternative channels
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key school leaders while keeping accurate sales records
- Stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences to enhance sales effectiveness
- Provide timely reports on sales activities and forecasts to the Territory Manager
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, or customer service
- Proven track record of success in sales with a focus on revenue growth and customer relationship management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Proficiency with MS Office, SalesForce/CRM technology, and telecommuting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities
- Experience in the education or publishing industry
- Familiarity with customer relationship management strategies
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment
