As the Paraplanner within our firm, you will be an experienced individual who can participate in all phases of the investment, financial planning, estate planning and insurance planning services we offer to our clients. You will be responsible for supporting our advisory team in several key areas, including data gathering and analysis, development of financial planning recommendations, implementation, and complex case research and resolution. Additionally, there will be duties around reporting, meeting preparation, and anything else that may help to move the business forward.

You are an excellent communicator that can grasp others’ needs and develop remarkable ways to fulfill them. You have enough experience and/or common sense to know that the first answer isn’t always the right one and you are incredibly resourceful and thoughtful in all your interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Support advisory team with preparation of well-polished documentation and presentation materials for meetings
- Attend and participate in meetings with prospects and existing clients for the purpose of notetaking
- Record meeting notes on topics covered, changes in client’s needs, and action items
- Summarize meeting and schedule action items in contact management software
- Complete all action items utilizing firm processes and procedures
- Coordinate financial plan development, including initial financial plan data entry, development and working with advisory team to develop recommendations; continuous monitoring of plan and any necessary changes
- Create quarterly and/or annual client summaries of net worth, estate distribution, insurance, income tax, cash flow projections, and investments
- Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define the actions necessary to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
- Investment product research and analysis; evaluate potential investments solutions, presenting findings to advisory team
- Proactively monitor custodian and internal alerts on a daily basis for change
- Continuously monitor client data across various platforms for accuracy and continuity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
- 3 years of progressive experience in the wealth management industry, supporting one or more financial advisors required
- Industry licenses and/or CFP designation, or desire to obtain
- Familiarity with financial planning software is required, MoneyGuidePro experience is highly preferred
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required
- Knowledge of industry-specific CRM software is required
- The ability to be a self-starter, critical thinker, problem-solver, and goal-oriented team player
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), relationship building, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, delegate, and manage a busy workload
Salary : $60,000 - $68,000
