TalentLogistiX is immediately seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Assembly Technicians in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our winning team! We offer steady work , above average wages with weekly pay for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

Pay Rate : $23.00 / hr-$24.00 / hr (depending on experience)

Location : Indianapolis, IN 46237

Hours : Monday-Friday, 6am-2 : 30pm, OT available

Heavy Equipment Assembly Technician Responsibilities :

• Assemble drilling rigs, and sub-assemblies of rigs encompassing tasks that include welding, assembling hydraulic components, electrical components, and basic mechanical fastening.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges. Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep equipment service records.
