This position requires hands-on expertise in excavating for plumbing systems, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of commercial plumbing projects. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform excavation work for plumbing systems on commercial properties, including digging trenches, removing soil, and preparing sites for pipe installation and repairs.
- Work closely with the plumbing team to install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
- Ensure all excavation activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Operate heavy excavation equipment (e.G., backhoes, trenchers) to dig and clear sites as needed.
- Assist in locating and identifying underground plumbing systems and infrastructure before excavation begins.
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure precise and accurate excavation.
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain excavation equipment by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
- Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide updates on the progress of excavation work.
- Ensure the worksite is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
