Talent Logistix is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical components and tools. The Industrial Electrician will ensure that all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Candidates must have experience with High Voltage. Experience with Mining equipment is a plus!
Location : Tampa, FL
Pay : $30.00 / hr-$32.00 / hr DOE
Shift : Monday - Friday (Day shift)
Job Responsibilities
Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial / mining equipment
Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments
Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications
Ensure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment
Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned
Maintain good housekeeping
Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
Experience
Proven experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in the electrical trade.
Experience working with low voltage systems and logic controllers is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer literate and able to use existing systems and grow into company networked program of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
SAP experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills and attention to details
Strong analytical / problem solving skills
Able to read and understand English sufficiently to be able to read technical information contained in manuals, reports and related instructions
Able to develop, read and use mechanical, electrical and structural sketches, blue prints and drawings
Good mathematic / mechanical aptitude
Working Conditions
Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with motor control circuits and relay logic
Able to prioritize tasks and work as a team member, as well as individually
