About the Company:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven Quality Engineer to join our team. This role requires someone who thrives on precision, accuracy, and problem-solving. You will play a key role in ensuring conformance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, leading quality initiatives, and driving continual improvement efforts.
About the Role:
- Conduct data-driven analysis to improve quality processes and reduce defects.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and manage PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and control plans to ensure conforming product to customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits for conformance.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing in an automotive environment.
- Documented training in ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and quality system compliance.
- Proficiency in PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D problem-solving.
- Strong skills in data analysis, process improvement, and statistical tools.
- Certifications (CQE and CQA) are a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
