Job Description:
We are seeking an extremely hands-on MS SQL DBA with 12-15 years of experience to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MS SQL and MongoDB (preferred but MS SQL required) and should have previous experience as an Oracle DBA, understanding database internals. This role requires someone who has performed database migrations, built resiliency strategies, and understands database optimization and network interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and optimize MS SQL databases.Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (preferred) and Oracle DB.Perform database migrations and build resiliency strategies.Understand and implement process optimization in database management.Work with network interfaces and database internals for performance tuning.Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
Independently manage database environments with minimum supervision.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient database operations.Technical Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL (required) and MongoDB (preferred).Former Oracle DBA with deep knowledge of database internals.Strong expertise in database migrations and resiliency building.Understanding of network interfaces with databases.Experience in high availability and disaster recovery.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
