With corporate headquarters in Houston Texas, and field-based district locations in almost every oil and gas play in the United States, they are a pioneer and leading provider of electric hydraulic fracturing services in the oil and gas industry. Working extensively within Permian, Utica, Marcellus, and Eagle Ford basins, we are seeking an industry experienced Technical Account Manager to support customers and equipment in the Permian Basin (Midland/ Odessa).
The Nuts and Bolts of The Job:
Reporting to the Area Engineering Manager – and as part of an eight person, highly focused, Texas based engineering team, this critical role is responsible to manage the flow of information and relationship between our partner, their engineering team and the customer their equipment supports.
Using your strong people skills, solid & proven technical knowledge and prior technical field experience, you will own the quality of our service and deliverables, drive improvements in efficiency in the field, to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment performance. Managing a Site Reliability Engineer, as a team, you will be responsible for keeping proprietary and innovative electrically powered hydraulic fracturing equipment up and running.
Office based, with visits to the field as needed, you will work with both internal staff as well as client teams understanding equipment performance, client expectations, contractual requirements all to deliver quality services. When there are changes in scope of work, equipment challenges and/or failures – you will work between the assigned Site Reliability Engineer (who reports to you) and the customer team to ensure that the engineered solution is suitable, quality based and then will document and communicate information between both companies/teams. Assigned to a strategic client group – you will participate in client-specific service, quality, and innovation efforts, and will use internal systems/ processes to ensure accuracy and document results. You will work on Monday to Friday schedule to deliver knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
You will:
- Lead all communication efforts with the assigned client/ partner.
- Understand all contract items and apply proper reasoning and foresight to keep client partnerships strong.
- Ensure all defined service quality issues are in the CRM/Quality tool.
- Ensure all Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) that are identified are properly documented, resolved and communicated.
- Coach Site Reliability Engineer(s) SRE(s) to ensure all RCAs receive proper engineered solutions.
- Travel – in district 25-75% of your week.
You Bring:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical)
- Minimum of 4 years of hydraulic fracturing experience preferred, preferably with electric and/or turbine activities
- Prior business development experience, in-house experience, and/or leadership training
- Strong interpersonal communication, with a desire to build and maintain relationships with impeccable technical and presentation skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, digital tools, apps, and other advanced software
- Desire and ability to innovate, both internally and in our partnerships
- Ability to manage team members and the inherent essential teamwork with other departments
- Ability to problem solve in high stress situations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to effectively multitask and pay attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of and experience ideally with:
- Turbines (Specifically GE Turbine an asset)
- Power Generation – including power acquired from turbines and grid
- Electrification/ Electric equipment. Including commercial and / or industrial units where you have supported high voltage equipment and where voltage may have included 120V, 480 V, or higher
- Switch gears
- PLC’s/ VFD’s

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
