Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in the Cottondale, Alabama area. This is a direct-hire position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan machining operation by reviewing blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and machining parameters
Set up machines for operations
Fast paced, high speed machining to customer specifications
Change tooling, set up machines, transfer commands to CNC modules, operate CNC machines and insert control instructions
Review program specifications to set machine parameters
Modify cutting programs
Reduce machining pressures and heat build up. Control coolant systems and maintain/ clean machines
Perform manual machining on manual lathes, drill presses and mills
Experience Needed:
At least 5 years of CNC machining experience
Experience with CNC lathes or mills
Ability to train others
Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC Machining is preferred
Salary : $22 - $33
