Overview
TalentoHC has partnered with a leading multinational HVAC, refrigeration, and fire and security equipment corporation seeking a Embedded Systems Engineer who will play a critical role in the development of innovative HVAC systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
This is a Onsite position with 9am to 5pm EST working hours.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders : Work closely with marketing, customers, and engineering teams to define and refine product requirements.
Drive system design : Lead the development of system architecture, ensuring optimal integration of hardware, firmware, and software components.
Conduct system-level analysis : Perform trade-off analysis, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to optimize system performance and reliability.
Develop test plans and procedures : Create comprehensive test plans and procedures to verify and validate system functionality and performance.
Participate in product development processes : Actively contribute to various stages of the product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
Document system requirements and design : Generate clear and concise documentation to facilitate understanding and knowledge transfer.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends : Continuously explore emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Controls Engineering
2 years of systems engineering experience with embedded products
Proficiency in requirements capture and definition tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, JIRA / Confluence)
Experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microcontrollers
Familiarity with various wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee / CHIP, Z-Wave)
Strong understanding of DFMEA principles and practices
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of C and C programming languages
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
Experience with MATLAB / Simulink, LabVIEW, or HVAC controls system design (preferred)
