What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Credit Associate position at TalentoHC?
TalentoHC has partnered with global financial institution searching for a Sr. Credit Associate. The Credit Associate will oversee the Credit Products to manage risk and controls of the credit portfolio. This role is in charge of reviewing loan portfolio to ensure each loan conform to the credit standards set by the organization.
Responsibilities
- Approval and maintenance of client credit limits, analyzing financial information to determine risks involved
- Develop all Credit documentation for clients, ensure proper legal documentation is in place for loans.
- Formatting and approval of new credit transactions
- Collateral Monitoring: formulate and review daily reports for distribution to credit department and Sales Force
- Collaborate with the sales team on investigations, resolutions, and status updates to confirm that the overdrafts and margin calls are monitored and controlled
- Assist on internal and external Audits
- Maintain and ensure orderliness and control credit files
- Create and Distribute all Credit Reports
- Responsible for approving internal transfers, visa control, and trades
- Ensure compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations and the bank's BSA/AML policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA is desirable
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Credit and 5 years in the Financial Industry
- Knowledge of credit products, fiduciary products and market, securities characteristic
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, and advanced Excel proficiency
- Knowledge and experience with Bloomberg
- Independent, organized, self-starter that can efficiently and effectively perform in a dynamic, multi-operating system, multi-company environment
- Fluency in Portuguese
