Role Overview :
Seeking a Social & Community Manager to lead engagement across social media and community platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Web3, DeFi, and decentralized technologies , with experience in fostering and expanding vibrant online communities. The ideal candidate understands crypto culture, stays ahead of industry trends, and can craft compelling content that resonates with blockchain enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities :
Social Media & Strategy Execution
Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
Manage daily operations of platforms such as Twitter, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok .
Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
Content Creation & Trend Monitoring
Plan, create, and schedule engaging multimedia content tailored for crypto audiences.
Write and edit social media copy that aligns with current Web3 trends (DeFi, DePin, NFTs, etc.).
Stay updated with industry news, integrating relevant topics into content strategy.
Community Engagement & Growth
Actively moderate and facilitate discussions across various community channels.
Respond to user inquiries, feedback, and concerns in real-time.
Host and support live events, AMAs, and Twitter Spaces to boost community interaction.
Identify and empower community ambassadors and influencers to help drive brand awareness.
Campaigns & Partnerships
Design and execute community engagement initiatives and growth campaigns .
Develop and manage an ambassador program to incentivize brand advocacy.
Identify and collaborate with influencers, thought leaders, and strategic partners to expand reach.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
Track key social media and community health metrics, including engagement, growth, sentiment, and retention .
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize future content and campaigns.
Monitor competitor activities and evolving industry trends to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience & Education
3 - 5 years of experience managing social media and online communities in the blockchain / crypto space.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Technical & Industry Knowledge
Deep understanding of blockchain, DeFi, Web3, and decentralized technologies .
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
Proficiency in managing platforms such as Twitter, Discord, Telegram, and Reddit .
Soft Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting engaging content.
Strong interpersonal abilities—comfortable engaging with a global audience.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker who excels in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Bonus Qualifications :
Experience managing token-based incentive programs and ambassador initiatives.
Familiarity with launching and listing tokens on centralized exchanges (TGE experience preferred) .
Previous experience hosting webinars, AMAs, or live events on platforms like Twitter Spaces or Discord Stages.
A personal Twitter account with 5,000 followers is a plus.
