Position Overview :
We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Accountants with expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). These roles involve planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of financial programs and operations. Both positions require a strong background in accounting, a high level of trustworthiness, and the ability to back up and interchangeably support one another.

An aviation-focused team, building client partnerships to integrate smart, strategic, technical, and organizational solutions. Their clients include civilian and military aviation organizations. They are headquartered in Vienna, VA. They are a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable (AR) :
Assist the FAA in managing incoming funds from operational direct lines and external customers (e.g., NDP, DoD, etc.).
Compile, analyze, and maintain a comprehensive list of receivables.
Generate monthly and quarterly reports for managers, ensuring reports are archived annually.
Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to GAO Green Book standards, FAA policies, and other regulatory requirements.
Accounts Payable (AP) :
Monitor and manage outgoing obligations, including purchase orders and PR obligations.
Resolve and reconcile incorrectly coded expenditures and ensure invoices align with expectations.
Provide detailed oversight of obligations, expenditure balances, and estimates.
Reconcile invoices and expenditures using FAA accounting systems such as Delphi and PRISM.
Additional Details :
Both positions are predominately remote, with preferred locations in Oklahoma City, OK, or the surrounding Washington, DC area.
Analysts will work collaboratively and act as interchangeable back-ups for one another to ensure seamless operations.
Reports and reconciliations will be conducted with adherence to FAA policies and federal compliance standards.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA with an Accounting specialization is preferred.
15 years of experience in business, finance, law, contracts, economics, industrial management, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
Demonstrated experience in financial management, compliance, and advanced analysis.
Proficiency in FAA financial tools such as Delphi (accounting system) and PRISM (credit card tracking system)
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
High levels of integrity and trustworthiness, with experience handling sensitive information.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance, if not already held. This process requires U.S. citizenship or specific legal authorization to work in the U.S. and meet federal eligibility requirements.
