Our client is seeking a HR Business Partner / Manager to work in the office (5 days a week) located in the Falls Church, VA area.
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for all areas of people operations support, employee concerns, policy interpretation, training, compliance, corrective action procedures, and hiring / termination support.
- Address, manage, and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Collaborate, review, and approve corrective action measures to ensure consistency of policies and guidelines.
- Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Conduct weekly meetings with leadership to proactively address employee concerns.
- Lead new hire on-boarding and orientation activities.
- Support in the development and execution of programs and initiatives focusing on culture, values, and people.
- Work with leadership on performance management, talent development, compensation, and employee engagement.
- Help manage employee benefits offerings in conjunction with brokers, vendors, and leadership.
- Partner with recruiting to help identify candidates for existing roles.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
