Quality Control System Manager
Our client is a design-build contractor that specializes in federal healthcare projects at military installations. They serve across the nation from their headquarters in Reston, Virginia.
Our client is a dynamic organization with great customers and a culture where people are valued and empowered to deliver amazing results. They have an immediate opening for a Quality Control System Manager in West Point, NY. This role will be part of an on-going project at Keller Hospital.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Requirements
Performs all quality control management duties required of the contractor
Serves as the government's sole point of contact in all matters relating to the quality of the work including, but not limited to, contract compliance and testing procedures
Has no other duties except quality control
Attends all job meetings on site at all times during construction activities reports all deficiencies to the government and the contractors Project Manager for correction
Works directly under, and is responsible to, an officer of the contractor at least one level higher than the contractors project manager
Minimum of 15 years of construction experience in similar size projects
Position Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
Positive attitude
Responsible, accountable, and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with hospital and healthcare projects.
Experience with design-build with Federal Government a plus
Experience with Primavera, plan reading and Construction SW
Complies with project Contract Documents, ownership requirements and regulatory agencies.
Experienced in inspecting and auditing QA/QC plans, procedures, subcontractors, and suppliers on project with large agencies
