Job Title: Chemist III
Location: Pomona, CA 91767
Duration: 06 months contract on W2 possibility of extension
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $42/hr on w2(without benefits)
Job Description:
Summary:
These cals and controls are used in conjunction with urine or oral fluid drugs of abuse assays run on clinical chemistry analyzers. Some of the assays are 510(k) cleared.
Responsibilities:
• Perform LCMS test method development for drug testing in oral fluid and urine samples
• Perform test method characterization (TMC) and validations (TMV) for LCMS product release of calibrators and controls.
These cals and controls are used in conjunction with urine or oral fluid drugs of abuse assays run on clinical chemistry analyzers. Some of the assays are 510(k) cleared.
Education:
• BS in Chemistry 7 years experience, MS in Chemistry 2 years experience.
• Working knowledge of above instruments, strong lab skills. Strong documentation skills, strong GMP, GLP.
• May have publications, or experience in presentation of findings to scientific organizations.
Experience:
• Experience developing/performing TMCs and/or TMVs on LCMS
• Shimadzu LCMS
• Hamilton liquid handler, such as STAR, STARlet, or Nimbus
• Working in FDA regulated environment
Salary : $41 - $42
