Job Summary :
The Test Technician is responsible for performing intricate tests on military electronic components, assemblies, and systems to evaluate their performance. This involves interpreting schematics, troubleshooting malfunctions, and collaborating with engineers on complex system-level operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional, operational, and environmental tests using various test equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions down to the component level.
- Coordinate failure reporting and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and revise test procedures based on engineering requirements.
- Maintain a testing database and assist in training less experienced technicians.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve design and test procedure issues.
- Work in both lab and field environments, adhering to documentation and instructions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding testing and performance matters.
