JobSummary :
The FieldService Technician performs testing repair and maintenanceactivities on equipment at field sites throughout the Boston PublicTransit System.
This involves operating and maintaining digital andelectronic devices troubleshooting and collaborating undersupervision. You will betrained!
EssentialJob Duties andResponsibilities :
Assist insetting up installing and servicingequipment.
Support routinecampaigns andinstallations.
Suggestimprovements to circuitry or installationspecifications.
Develop wiringdiagrams and equipmentlayouts.
Interfaceprofessionally with customeragencies.
Analyzeequipment malfunctions using manuals test equipment anddiagrams.
Collaborate toresolve hardwareissues.
Perform generalmaintenance onequipment.
Build cableassemblies and PCBs asneeded.

Minimum JobRequirements :
Twoyear collegedegree or equivalent in electronics or a related field plus twoyears ofexperience.
Able to work forany US employer without sponsorships visa transfers or temporaryvisa status.
Ability tofollow instructions for reworking repairing testing and maintainingequipment.
Excellentcommunication and customer serviceskills.
Willingness totravel.
Ability tointerpret technical material and lift 50lbs.
Ability to workin public stations seasonal temperatures and demandingenvironments.
