Quality Engineer

Talentry is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who
can review RFQs and RFP orders and contracts in order to implement Advanced Product
Quality Planning (APQP) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and
the zero-defect plans (ZDP.)
This
Quality Professional will review NCR’s to identify causes and recommend
corrective actions. He or she will also conduct internal audits to ensure compliance,
and manage the change management with respect to specifications, manufacturing
instructions, drawings, and other similar items.
This
person will investigate failures and deviations and ensure conformance of parts
and processes. He or she will train junior staff and assist the manufacturing
and engineering staff to optimize quality, performance, compliance, and
reliability.
Requirements
BS in Engineering, or similar.
5 years of related experience.
Exposure to compliance paradigms such as ISO 9001, Mil-STD-790,
AS9100 and similar.
Excellent communication and documentation experience.
Ability to work from the corporate office in Buena Park, CA.
