The Role:
We are seeking to expand our Finance & Accounting team with a full-time Property Accountant. As the Property Accountant, you will work closely with the Controller and RedT Accounting Team to provide accurate and timely accounting information for our growing real estate business.

Qualifications:
- Understanding of financial statements.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Must have integrity, be accountable, be positive and be able to work as a team.
- Sage / Procore knowledge is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in real estate or construction is a plus.
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of the Denver Metro Area at the time of employment, as this is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining the general ledger.
- Prepares monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
- Reconciles bank accounts weekly.
- Supervise A/P and A/R functions.
- Process bi-monthly construction draws including invoicing and monitoring construction and development fees
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits.
- Verifies and/or assists with payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate entity, projects, and accounts.
- Provide analysis and detail as to variances on the income statement.
- Assist other departments with research projects.
- Add bank budgets into Sage.
- Monthly account reconciliations including intercompany accounts
- Process multiple monthly partner reports for investors.
- Process credit card transactions.
- Ad hoc projects as they arise.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,156.00 - $103,821.00 per year
