The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing cybersecurity measures, performing penetration testing, researching new attack vectors, and responding to security incidents within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Implement, maintain, and test security solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Research and recommend policies and procedures to prevent, and defend against, unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- Utilize threat intelligence, and experience, to perform active threat hunting.
- Investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents.
- Frequently audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the enterprise.
- Report to members of senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues.
- Develop dashboards, direct alerting, and risk-based alerting.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Interface with technical and non-technical users to conduct fact-finding interviews.
- Lead vulnerability and pen test campaigns, working with other IT staff, to guide patching and remediation.
Qualifications :
Location : Elkhart, IN
Pay : 75-85k with Bonus!
