Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks across operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic areas.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks effectively.
- Continuously monitor risk exposure and recommend adjustments to policies and controls.
- Provide expert advice to leadership on emerging risks and industry best practices.
- Develop risk frameworks and tools tailored to organizational needs.
- Align risk management initiatives with business objectives to drive sustainable growth.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and auditors during risk-related evaluations.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory environments and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Lead cross-functional teams to promote a risk-aware culture within the organization.
- Train and mentor staff on risk management practices and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to risk mitigation.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for executive management and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, control measures, and incident resolutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and boards, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, advisory, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, SOX compliance, etc..
- Proficiency in data analysis and risk modeling tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Experience in financial, operational, and compliance risk management.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
