Position: Construction Foreman
Location: Winchester, VA
Salary: $28.00- $36.00/hr. bonuses Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans (e.g., 401(k) matching), bonuses, and opportunities for overtime. 
Must have: General Contractor experience and experience overseeing projects averaging in size and scope from $200,000 to $2 million

A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to oversee projects ranging in size and scope from $200,000 to $2 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Management: Enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and direct the work of subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Field Personnel Management: Direct and assist field personnel, providing leadership and support to ensure project success.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager regarding any conditions or situations that could impact the project schedule or cost.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to the construction schedule.
• Blueprint and Specification Interpretation: Read and interpret commercial blueprints and specifications to guide construction activities effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license is required.
