Position: Drywall Estimator- Commercial

Location: Beltsville, MD

Salary: $ 75,000-$ 85,000 with 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, Life insurance, paid time off, Referral program, vision insurance, and performance bonus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret plans and specifications to create accurate proposals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Ensure compliance with local, city, and state building codes.
• Oversee and train project engineers and assistant estimators to ensure team growth.
• Continuously enhance knowledge across product lines, including drywall, acoustics, doors/frames/hardware, and specialties.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Estimator or 5–7 years overall estimating experience.
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff software with at least 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
