What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing plans and specifications to create precise, competitive estimates.
- Staying updated on material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure accurate proposals.
- Ensuring compliance with local, city, and state building codes.
- Leading and mentoring project engineers and assistant estimators.
- Enhancing expertise across drywall, acoustics, doors/frames/hardware, and specialties.
What You Bring to the Table
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting (preferred).
- 5–7 years of estimating experience (or at least 2 years as an Assistant Estimator).
- Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff software (minimum 3 years).
- Strong ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a passion for excellence.
