The primary function of Site Manager is to ensure projects are installed in a timely and professional manner. - Familiarize themselves with project details and schedule
- Attend start-up meetings
- Perform pre-installation site inspections
- Gain an understanding of project schedule and manpower requirements
- Relate schedule and manpower requirements to the Project Manager and Field Manager in a timely manner
- Coordinate material deliveries with site and office personnel to ensure material is on site in time for install and acclimation
- Meet installation crews on site and go over project details and schedule
- Visit the site on a regular basis during installation to monitor progress. Update the Project Manager on a consistent basis on progress and future material delivery requirements
- Be the main contact point for the contractor’s site superintendent
- Perform quality control checks and compile deficiency lists for installation crews
- Attend sub trade meetings as required
- Upon job completion, remove excess material from site and turnover maintenance materials as required by specification to the general contractor
- Ensure worker and site compliance with health and safety requirements
