TalentTeam is looking for a Shift Lead Maintenance Technician III In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive technician with a solid background in equipment troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
The ideal candidate will work independently, follow standard operating procedures to monitor equipment performance, and ensure safety and effectiveness across our production environment. Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
Follow standard procedures to monitor equipment performance, ensuring that systems are operating efficiently, safely, and effectively.
Conduct equipment failure analysis to identify root causes and help complete unscheduled maintenance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, using expertise and knowledge to minimize downtime.
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.
Provide support for continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to improve equipment reliability and overall system performance.
Interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment as needed.
Using company software, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and production metrics.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication).
Minimum requirement of 3 years of related experience in maintenance or a technical field, with proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures for various job functions.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot production machinery.
Knowledge of safety protocols and experience maintaining equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Experience leading a team.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with automated production systems or industrial machinery.
Certifications or training in specific electrical or mechanical disciplines (e.G., PLCs, robotics, etc.) are a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
