Hourly Rate : $22-$25 DOE
Schedule : Monday-Friday 6 : 00am-3 : 00pm
About the Role :
As a Shop Planner, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing workflows within our pump repair shop. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Shop Mechanic and report to the Shop Manager to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and meet our quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical curiosity, and a business-focused mindset to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
What You ll Be Doing :
Scheduling and Coordination : Create, manage, and prioritize service orders and timelines.
Communication : Collaborate with sales, management, and shop teams to provide accurate updates on project progress and address potential delays.
Problem Solving : Anticipate and resolve challenges in repair and production workflows.
Documentation : Maintain detailed and well-organized records, including repair reports, assembly notes, and relevant files.
Repair Reports and Quotes : Draft repair reports and commercial quotes based on input from shop mechanics.
Technology Use : Utilize ERP systems like Prophet 21 (P21), Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Lists to track and manage operations.
Hands-On Support : Occasionally assist with tasks such as deliveries and pickups as needed.
What We re Looking For :
Experience & Skills :
Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems such as P21 is desirable but not mandatory.
Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn about pump repair processes.

Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
No previous work experience required;however, experience in planning, logistics, accounting, or shop coordination is advantageous.

Valid driver s license (for occasional deliveries / pickups).
