TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisory practice with @$400M AUM in Fort Myers, FL is hiring a Senior Financial Planning Assistant to their growing team. The Financial Planning Assistant plays the critical role in analyzing and communicating information from and to our clients and is the manager of our client’s overall experience. This position requires significant knowledge of our industry, superb critical thinking skills, a strong ethical backbone, an ability to effectively manage multiple projects and the wisdom to manage oneself and work well with others.
There is a strong support team who are responsible for many aspects of support and client service. This position will supervise many of these roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Activities:
- Supervise the team that prepares documentation for client meetings including review and organization of financial data supplied by clients
- Create and update financial plans and investment policy statements; monitor progress through delivery, review, and execution of documents
- Review client meeting documents and planning notes, and supervise the preparation of agendas for financial advisors
- Independently create follow-up letters to clients after review meetings
- Supervise Associate Planning Assistant and verify accuracy of prepared reports
- Perform duties of Associate Planning Assistant when he or she is unavailable
- Develop, maintain and supervise office procedures
- Prepare documentation for estate planning meetings with attorneys
- Review and manage client estate planning documents
- Research tax, trust, and estate regulations as needed
- Attend most client meetings, taking notes and supervising follow-up activities
- Supervise the preparation of roadmaps, net worth statements and retirement analysis spreadsheets
- Provide back-up support for trade execution when needed
- Periodic special projects as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Requires:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Ability to quickly adapt to proprietary computer systems and applications
- Significant experience in securities processing typically gained by working for a brokerage firm, trust company, financial planning firm or bank
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to work under pressure occasionally created by time constraints
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
