We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements, support production efficiency, and help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and cost control. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and data analysis
- Support new product introductions and improve existing assembly processes
- Investigate and resolve production issues; implement root cause and corrective actions
- Optimize workflows, equipment layouts, and workforce utilization
- Estimate production times, costs, and staffing needs
- Develop, document, and refine manufacturing processes and tooling
- Train production staff on proper assembly methods and process control
- Ensure safety policies and quality standards are met
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, MRP systems, and statistical tools
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes
- Familiar with soldering, wire crimping, and continuous improvement methods
- Analytical and hands-on approach to solving production challenges
Additional Info:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
- Travel required up to 10% (domestic and international)
- Typical manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
