Looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager with heavy estimating experience!
Estimating tasks may include: commercial flooring, metal framing, acoustical ceiling tiles, drywall, and wood framing.
You should be proficient in On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid; familiarity with Planswift as an alternative program is preferred as well as experience with linked programs for construction estimating.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall projects, based on plans, specifications, and project objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Partner with our project managers and field teams to refine scopes of work, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project details.
- Research and analyze materials, labor, and time requirements to develop competitive estimates.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and industry events to stay connected and informed within the industry.
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction industry experience
- 5 years minimal Cost Estimating experience, preferably On-Screen TakeOff
- Microsoft’s Suite of software
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Functions effectively as part of a team
- Time management skills and organizational skills
- Proven experience managing preconstruction
