FULL DESCRIPTION : Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Finance Consultant to optimize and re-establish their Accounts Payable (AP) systems and processes. Processing approximately 25,000 transactions annually (nearly 50,000 including credit card transactions), they require a skilled professional to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in their AP workflows. The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Assess and redesign AP systems & workflows to improve efficiency and compliance.-Develop and implement best practices for processing high-volume transactions.-Train and transition responsibilities to an incoming AP Manager to ensure long-term sustainability.-Collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.-Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with an NDA agreement post-assignment. The selected candidate will also possess : -Proven experience in AP process development, system implementation, and workflow optimization.-Strong background in high-volume AP environments, ideally within a non-profit sector.-Ability to train and mentor team members, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer.-Hands-on experience with AP software and automation tools.-San Diego-based and available to work onsite, Monday-Thursday for the duration of the project.
