Immediate opening for an Automatic Optical Inspection Programmer in Brea, CA who possesses : -Must have Data Sheets lookup experience and ability to determine markings -Experience with Solder Inspection on PCB boards required -Experience reading BOM (Bill of Materials) -Navigation around blueprints and drawings Email resumes to jgarcia@ or call 858.279.4902.   FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Responsible for setup and operation of 2D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machines. -Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure workmanship that complies with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, industry standards (IPC-610, J-STD-001), and customer-specific criteria. -Use precision measuring instruments such as smart tweezers and calipers and pin gauges to determine adherence to electrical and dimensional specifications on first articles, in-process inspections, and production runs.-Communicates the defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity.-Communicates any of the defects being noted during the AOI operations to assembly operators so that corrections can be quickly implemented. -Performs and records the results of first article inspections and in-process inspections of assemblies and input data into the associated database.-Properly handles and disposes of all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations while maintaining the cleanliness of the work area. The selected candidate will also possess : -High School Diploma or equivalent.-Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics assembly manufacturing or similar industry.-Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection equipment and procedures.-1 year of experience in a regulated industry such as ISO9001, AS9100 or ISO13485.-Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and PCB Gerbers.-Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.-Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts.
