FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Processes and assists in the City's General liability claims by routing and filing claims to the City's insurance carrier.-Process subrogation claims for the City.-Ensure the City is complying with documentation and certifications.-Plan and track employees' completion of annual mandatory / compliance training.-Work on the City's vehicle inventory and ensure insurance coverage and other related tasks.-File and record incident reports from City staff and process loss notification claim process with the City's insurance TPA (Third Party Administrator).-Assist the department with the contractual risk process.-Work on Employee Leave Requests ().-Work on the City's Injury and Illness Prevention Program.-Work on the City's Commercial Driver's license EPN (Employee Pull Notice) Program.-Assist Human Resources & Risk Manager with other complex risk-related assignments. -Perform other duties as assigned.The selected candidate will also possess : -Strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent computer skills including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite-The ability to receive assignment instructions and to comprehend said assignments-The ability to draft professional documents and correspondence (including emails)-The ability to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Be professional, provide great customer service, and have a pleasant demeanor.
