FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team! This position will be dealing directly with our customers via e-mail and phone by scheduling, estimating and following up with our team for the highest level of customer service. The Service Advisor is primarily responsible for scheduling technicians in the Service Department, communicating updates to customers requiring estimates, scheduling completion/adjustments, needed repairs, and following up with technicians.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Schedules service appointments.
- Obtains customer, boat, and Yamaha Outboard data prior to arrival when possible.
- Greets and/or follows up with customers in a timely, friendly manner.
- Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
- Establishes "promised time"
- Checks on progress of technicians throughout the day.
- Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and obtains authorization prior to additional repairs.
- Advise customers on the care of their Yamaha Outboards and boats and the value of maintaining their boat and motors in accordance with manufacturers' specifications to avoid costly repairs.
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)

The selected candidate will also possess:
- Ability to read and interpret documents, procedures, instructions, operation manuals, safety rules, etc.
- Must have interpersonal and language skills necessary to deal with people at all levels within the organization
- Ability to understand basic reports relating to this department
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics assembly manufacturing or similar industry
- Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection equipment and procedures
- Comprehension of IPC-610A and J-STD-001 standards. Prior certification is a plus
- Must understand how electronic components are oriented and be able to distinguish the different part numbers
- Ability to interpret Engineering Documentation and work instructions
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to read, interpret and develop documents, instructions, operation manuals, safety rules, etc.
- 1 year of AS9100 experience
- 3 years Electronic Manufacturing
- Experience operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, manage multiple tasks given in written and oral form
- IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification is required
Salary Range: $20-$24/hr
