The ideal candidate will have 6 years' experience in Accounting coupled with a strong Excel and communications skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for Bank Reconciliations with transaction analysis and reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts as assigned by management.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting and finance and an eye for detail to join a dynamic and growing organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Review, code and process accounts payables and cash receipts. -Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements. -Process and distribute A / P checks and setup wire transfers. -Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly. -Assist with journal entries monthly. -Prepare quarterly and annual sales tax returns, city taxes and personal property taxes returns; -Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner. -Assist with the budget and forecasting activities. -Assist Controller with a variety of other duties-Assist with Payroll when needed Responsibilities : - Maintain accurate records of transactions, including ATMs and Cash Safes- Record activity at the bank in Cash flow planning document- Bank Reconciliations- Monitor GL Balances and reconcile Account Balances- Account Reconciliations- Prepare Journal Entries (QuickBooks / Easy Acct)- Become an integral part of Internal Controls- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.- Assist in the yearly financial audit- Reconcile Cash transactions and resolve variances and errors- Interaction with personnel to ensure proper recording of transactions to the GL- Familiarity with Quick Books- Familiarity with EasyAcct Accounting- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional programming Salary Range : $30-$40 / hrFor immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume to sgriner@ or call 424.488.7104.
