Our client has an opening for a Jr Budget Analyst. This position will support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (OUSD). The right candidate will have some DoD Budgeting/Financial/Accounting experience. This position requires a DoD Secret Clearance or higher. This role is hybrid – two to three days in the office at the Pentagon and the Mark Center in Alexandria VA and the remaining days remote.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- DoD Secret Clearance;
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar;
- Familiarity with DoD Budget Execution, Financial Management and/or Accounting;
- Experience with budget process, executing funding documents;
- Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Support the government staff in budget execution reports, spend plans, assessment reports, and briefings;
- Close Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) on prior program contracts;
- Enter data in the Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DAR Q) system;
- Monitor the execution of appropriated funds to ensure funding is properly allocated, executed, and posted over various accounting systems.
Salary : $73,000 - $83,000
